Matthew Paul Sloan (born March 24, 1973) is an American director, playwright, voice actor and comedian from Madison, Wisconsin. 

He is the co-host and co-owner of Blame Society Films. He and his friend Aaron Yonda are notable as the co-creators of the web series Chad Vader: Day Shift Manager, in which he voices the title character. Additionally, he appears in season one as the main antagonist, and has a minor appearance in the first few episodes of the second series as said antagonist's father. Since Chad Vader, he has gone on to voice Darth Vader in various Star Wars media.

He hosts a movie reviewing and discussion show on YouTube called Welcome to the Basement with his friend Craig Johnson.

Matt Sloan has his own YouTube channel called SloanArchive that catalogues many of his previous works prior to the rise of YouTube.

Early life and education

Matt was the youngest child of four, born to Milwaukee factory workers. He attended a "computer specialty high school" and wrote funny stories which he shared among his classmates via email. At summer camp during his high school years, he discovered ComedySportz and was drawn to improv.[1][2]

Matt attended the St. Norbert College.

Matt eventually met Aaron Yonda at Madison ComedySportz troupe in 2000.
